Angel's In Waiting

Not all of SAMA’s Angels in Waiting reside
at our safe haven. The animals in our Angels in Waiting Program were pulled from various shelters throughout the United States
wherein we identified permanent foster families who share our philosophies that welcome SAMAs Seniors into their home and
hearts to avoid unwarranted stress in relocating them from their area and so, SAMA provides an allowance to each senior in
our program to help with geriatric, homeopathic, or other Easter and Western medicines to help manage, extend, or treat various
illnesses. We do not support invasive surgeries, but rather provide a continued quality of life each of seniors can afford
though PAWSPICE care.

xxxxxxxxx Flower
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Flower's epic life can only be told through the nostalgia
that is seen within her eyes. Her unhurried stroll exhibits her weathered past. As passers-by exuberantly pass us Flower
stops, looks wistfully then continues on her way. She comes to us with
humility, a willingness to please, and a sense of gratitude. By the graces of God Flower found her way to SAMA. It
is here that Flower will rest and retire with the dignity and respect she deserves.

& OPERATION HOMECOMING…
Hi my name is Rilee. The humans I spent the first 8 years of my life with surrendered me to the Animal Protective
Foundation (APF) because they did not want me anymore~ maybe it’s because I have cancer, maybe it’s because they
did not want to take care of me shall I grow old and frail, or maybe it’s because they never loved me~ either way the
first day of the rest of my life began when I walked through the doors of the APF as the caring folks there
showed me unconditional love. They helped me find my way to this pawriffic place called Hooch’s Haven for Homeless Hounds
where I will retire being pampered and loved. Please stay tuned and for my OPERATION HOMECOMING…

Jessie was turned in to a high
kill shelter in Kentucky because of the multitude of medical issues she is facing including cancer and obesity. Although
her sweet presence captured the hearts of the shelter staff and may have bought her a few more days the shelter deemed
her unadoptable and placed her on the euthanasia list. Once we learned of Jessie we, without pause welcomed her to Hooch's
Haven to spend all her days resting and retiring from life’s worries.

This
is Duke- SAMA’s California Ambassador. Our ‘Paws Across the World’ campaign bands us with a fellow rescuer
in Baldwin Park, Ca. to educate learners beyond our community on the importance of our role in the life of an animal. Duke
was surrendered to an over populated shelter after 14 years. Duke will remain in our 'Angels in Waiting program while he waits
for his forever family to help us bringing awareness to the wistful- contented, and loyal life of a senior animal.
XENA 'OUR’ WARRIOR PRINCESS
XENA
‘OUR’ WARRIOR PRINCESS_ after being abandon to an over populated shelter by her guardians after giving them 12
years of loyalty & love ~THEN to be adopted by someone who immediately disregarded her as she was picked up by ACO as
a stray three weeks later. Xena carried on with enduring strength as warriors do. She sat quietly & patiently~ with an
abundance of love to offer. Once Xena’s unjust sequence of events was brought to our attentions; without pause we welcomed
her into our ‘Angels in Waiting’ Program wherein she will retire with dignity and grace knowing human empathy
and kindness. Xena’s well being is our first and foremost concern, and so to avoid any further unwarranted
stresses in transporting her from AZ to NY we identified a family in AZ that welcomed her into their home and their hearts.
And so, it is with a humble heart that we thank you for your continued support of all our efforts to make
a difference in their lives because EVERY DOG DESERVES a HAPPY ENDING~
